Veggie Fortified Marinara Sauce

  • 3 jars of Premium Pete Pasta Sauce
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 large carrots, peeled and diced
  • 1 small zucchini, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Preheat your oven to 400F.
  • Peel and dice your veggies.
  • Lay out veggies onto a large sheet pan. 
  • Salt and pepper veggies to taste (always measure your salt so as to not add too much!)
  • Cook veggies until soft and browned. 
  • While your veggies cook, empty 3 jars of Pete’s sauce into a large Orgreenic stock pot. 
  • Bring sauce to a very gentle simmer.
  • When your veggies are cooked, carefully remove from the oven and add into a blender or food processor. 
  • Blend veggies until smooth. 
  • Carefully pour veggies into the stock pot with the sauce. 
  • Mix. 
  • Serve over pasta and meatballs!
  • Eat!
