CPR is a life-saving skill everyone should know.

Only about 40 % of people who experience ‘out-of-hospital’ cardiac arrest receive CPR from bystanders. Performing CPR within the first few minutes of cardiac arrest can significantly increase chances of survival.

Why Hybrid Classes?

Hybrid Classes (Blended Learning) CPR Training

In the hybrid-class model, students learn the curriculum via a two-part process.  This type of format allows students to spend less time at an in-person class and provides students access to an online training portal that will remain active even after the initial training is complete to refresh skills and query information whenever they want.

First, we will schedule the hands-on skills session. Then, students will receive an email with a link to complete the online pre-course. The pre-course is self-scheduled and consists of online videos and quizzes. Self-scheduled means you can complete this class any time it’s convenient for you, at your own pace, and from the comfort of your home. You can start and stop the course at any time. The entire pre-course training should take about two hours. The pre-course is MANDATORY. Students will bring their pre-course certificate of completion to their in-person, hands-on skills session. During this session, Jessica reviews the skills taught in the online classes, answers questions, and provides realistic hands on skills building with CPR manikins.

After completion of parts one (pre-course) and two (skills session), students will be emailed an American Heart Association CPR certification card.
