Why Hybrid Classes?

Hybrid / Blended Learning CPR Training

In the hybrid-class model, students learn the curriculum via a two-part process. First, students schedule their in-person skills training. Prior to the scheduled date, students complete a self-scheduled pre-course, which consists of online videos and quizzes. Self-scheduled means you can complete this class any time it’s convenient for you, at your own pace, and from the comfort of your home. The entire pre-course should take about two hours. When the first part is completed, students will bring their certificate of completion to their in-person, hands-on skills session. After completion of parts one and two, you will be emailed an American Heart Association CPR certification card.

In-Person / Classroom CPR Training

In-Person CPR Training lasts 4 hours. The instructor administers both the cognitive portion and the hands-on skills practice and testing. This mandates a longer, in-person commitment that may not be as convenient for most people.

Heartsaver CPR Certification
