If you love fall and you love margaritas...

  • Ingredients:
    • 6 oz blood orange juice, freshly squeezed (from about 8 oranges); can swap in regular orange juice
    • 3 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed (from about 3 limes)
    • 1/2 tsp Stevia (or 1 packet)
    • 4 oz (4 shots) Blanco Tequila (optional)
    • 1/2 oz Cointreau Orange Liquor or Triple Sec (optional)
    • Club soda to taste for the mocktails
    • Blood orange or lime slices for garnish
    • Margarita salt for the rim of the glass
  • Instructions:
    • Pour salt on a small plate. Run a wedge of lime around the rim of the glass. Dip the glass on the plate of salt and coat the entire rim. Tap glass over plate to let excess fall.
    • Add ice cubes to glasses and set aside. (Be careful not to disrupt the salt on the rim!)
    • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in orange juice, lime juice, tequila, Cointreau, and Stevia. Put on the lid and shake for about 30 seconds.
    • Strain the liquid into the glasses and garnish with a slice of fruit.
    • If making mocktails, omit the tequila and Cointreau from the shaker. After you pour into glasses, add your desired amount of club soda. Make sure to garnish!
    • Cheers!
