Toppings! I think walnuts or chocolate chips are the most delicious. If you use shredded coconut, I’d recommend adding IN the batter as this may burn on top.
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F.
In a mixing bowl, use a fork to mash bananas.
Add vanilla, egg, and sugar and mix well.
Add almond butter and mix well.
Add cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Mix until combined.
Use oil to ‘grease’ all sides of a 9×9 baking dish.
Alternatively you could use cupcake papers and make smaller brownies – adjust the cooking time as needed.
Pour batter into the baking dish.
Add toppings !
Bake at 350F for 35-45 minutes or so. Bake until center is set and toothpick comes out clean.
Baking time will vary based on bananas and nut butter moisture content.
