Or, make a fermented Sauerkraut.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plain yogurt – I used Lavva
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely minced (or 2-3 tsp dried)
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill (or 2-3 tsp dried)
  • 2 tsp onion powder or chives (or 1/4 cup fresh chives)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp himalayan salt
  • cracked black pepper to taste
  • top with fresh chives or scallions to taste
  • If you want a more ‘thin’ or ‘runny’ dressing for salads, whisk in 1/4 cup of plain milk and 1-2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar. 

Instructions:

  • Wash herbs and lemon
  • Finely mince herbs
  • Mix into yogurt with lemon juice, spices
  • Best after it sits for about 30 minutes or longer to let the flavors meld but can be enjoyed immediately
