Taco Seasoning Blend

Here’s my issue…Most of the available store-bought seasonings are loaded with sugar, MSG, sodium, anti caking agents, or other additives which can be inflammatory and not quite the way to Eat Your Way to Wellness. For this reason, I try to make my own. I usually make a bulk recipe and store the blend for a quick way to add flavor, boost health, and make yumminess at home.


  • 4 tbsp chili powder
  • 3 tbsp cumin
  • 3 tsp sea salt
  • 3 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (more if desired)


  • In a small bowl, mix together all of the spices.
  • Store in an airtight container. I use a dry mason jar or spice jar.
  • You can use recycled glass peanut butter or honey jars but be sure to wash and DRY thoroughly.
