🍋 If you’re like me .. you just can’t stand plain water. My two favorite ways to flavor it up – because hands down, the best way to hydrate on a regular basis – is cucumber and mint and apples with cinnamon sticks.
In times of excessive sweating, diarrhea, or water loss, I make my own electrolyte drink.

Ingredients:

  • Before making changes to your dietary, supplement, or lifestyle choices, consult with your practitioner.
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 tsp pink salt (1/8th or 1/16th tsp if its too salty)
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 2 cups coconut water
  • Optional: 1 tsp honey or sweetener
  • Optional: magnesium powder or open a capsule

Instructions:

  • Blanch the peas in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, until their peas are bright green then plunge them into an ice water bath to stop the cooking process.
  • Add all of the ingredients into a food processor or blender
